First things first -Lets start by first discussing what a Mantra is.
What is a Mantra
A mantra is a word, phrase, or even a sound repeated to oneself as a tool to effect ones mental state or emotional well being. A mantra is often times used in conjunction with meditation, yoga, or throughout ones day as a personal slogan or statement.
At the end of the day, the mantra is meant to bring you back to simplicity. We live in such a complex world that it’s easy to get lost in all the details. Mantras can help you circle back to the simplistic approach to life and focus on those things that inspire you and truly make you happy. -Tris Thorp from Chopra.com
I use a mantra as a means to remember my morals, standards, things that make me happy and as my personal motto. Mantras have been so useful especially when we think about the stresses of the daily grind and how easy it is to get lost in the sauce. Like affirmations, the power of a mantra lies in repetition and actively changing unhealthy patterns. So when I feel the need to take some time, realign, and regroup, I will repeat my mantra.
The first Bad Bitch Mighty Mantra simply is:
I love myself!!
How does that feel to say to yourself. Are filled with a warm loving feeling? Do you feel like you have your best interest in mind? Do you feel like you really do love yourself? If not then lets get started on the self love journey.
Self love is my main goal here at Bad Bitch Affirmations – for everyone. I feel like it is essential to start the journey to living a fulfilling life by starting first with the love you have for yourself and building off of that good foundation. This mantra, or personal motto, is a very powerful way to get started, and quite frankly is one of my faves.
If you need help starting your journey toward self-love, below I’ve listed 5 great ways to start practicing.
Here are 5 powerful ways to boost self-love
1. Start by speaking lovingly to yourself.

Take care of your body. Take a walk. Sleep. Relax. Give yourself a beautiful bath. Drink water, Get some vitamin D.
3.Work through any disappointments with yourself and forgive.
Forgive yourself. There may be something in your past that needs to be removed to make room for the new. Work on it. It will be a process but it will be well worth it. Release it.
4. Set boundaries
To practice self love, some relationships may change. Do a social purge and a social media purge.
